Après avoir pêché le thon rouge aux leurres sur plusieurs saisons, la mouche s’est imposée comme un défi ultime pour ce poisson. L’approche des chasses à la mouche demande encore plus de délicatesse et de précision que la pêche au leurre. Je vous propose de mettre cette expérience à votre service dans la bonne humeur et en profitant au mieux de l’excitation exceptionnelle que provoque cette pêche.

A constant attention will be given to optimize your chances of fighting with Atlantic bluefin tuna.

Equipment

We have selected "Hardy" sets that have proven their strengths, including the 12 silk Hardy Zephrus SWS with FORTUNA XDS 12000 reels with brakes up to 14kg. The Zephrus in 4 strands can be compared to fish up to 30Kg. But we will have in exclusivity of these rods able to fight fish up to 50-60kg while keeping real feelings of fishing with the fly.

The boat

The BFT-Guiding team will welcome you on a boat entirely designed for sport fishing. You will be able to navigate and track Bluefin Tuna in an Everglades 243cc. Its special design with a platform at the front and a rear deck will allow two fly fishermen to launch on tuna hunts at the same time in good sea conditions. The boat is equipped with a Mercury Verado engine. 275hp provides the exceptional performance and navigation needed for these offshore fisheries. Equipped with state-of-the-art electronics: On-board computer, dual combined plotter -vhf radio sounder, etc ... The boat has a liferaft and lifejackets with a buoyancy > 150N will be made available to each fisherman.

You can enjoy a day of tuna fishing in conditions of optimal comfort on an exceptional open boat.

Addtional information

Fly fishing for tuna can take place from mid-June to mid-October. But the most interesting fishing season is between mid-August and mid-October.

The rest of the calendar will be open at the last minute depending on the presence of tunas on the fishing area

Bluefin tuna are subject to strict opening periods in No Kill only.

Fly fishing is very specific with a different approach and use of the space of the boat. No mixed group between lure angler and fly fishing will be proposed. You can compose mixed groups with friends if you wish. Fly services are only offered as part of a privatization of the boat.
