Tenkara fishing initiation in Creuse

Description

Tenkara fishing is an ancient Japanese trout fishing technique.
Tenkara was born from the imagination of Japanese mountain stream fishermen. This technique was considered as the most effective fishing technique for catching local trout and thus providing food and income for small farmers.
The similarities with Japanese martial arts are obvious: beauty of the gesture, self-control and "false simplicity" too. A very "Zen" practice that samurai appreciated.
