Trout fishing in Savoie and Haute-Savoie

Description

This is an initiation fishing session for fishing wild trout with fly or nymph. According to an evolutionary method and the conditions of the moment, I will guide you all the fundamental rules of fly fishing (casts, approach, choice of equipment, bottom line, fly, presentation ...). Depending on the geographical area, torrent upstream, river wider and downstream, the Chéran still offers the opportunity to use the different techniques of fly fishing.

Fred est un passionné de pêche et de nature depuis sa plus tendre enfance, passions qu'il a découvertes avec son père et qu'il fait partager désormais au plus grand nombre.
Il est un acteur incontournable du milieu halieutique dans les Bauges et dans l'Albanais, territoire où coule une rivière emblématique, le Chéran.
Le Chéran et ses affluents n'ont plus de secrets pour lui tant il a arpenté ses berges. C'est pour cela qu'il se propose de vous guider sur cette capricieuse rivière, préférant se consacrer exclusivement à ce territoire. Avec lui, pas de grandes théories sur la pêche à la mouche, pas de longs discours, on va à l'essentiel. Le but, se faire plaisir !

The program in details

I will put in your hands my passion and my experience of this river so that you can at the end of this session be autonomous with a flying rod.

I will also make you discover the landscapes of the Regional Natural Park of the Massif des Bauges, its architectural heritage and of course its gastronomic heritage.

Either I will pick you up directly at your accommodation or we will set an appointment in the morning. I will be at your disposal to transmit my passion for fly fishing, to introduce you, improve or guide you on the most beautiful fishing spots of Cheran.

Initiation fly according to evolutionary method:
- Presentation of the material (rod, silk, leader)
- Learning the right cast in three stages
- Hook, control and catch the fish
- Knowledge of typical nodes
- Presentation of the aquatic environment, fish behavior
- Notions of entomology and hydrobiology
- Construction of the bottom line, choice of the fly, tricks
